Who I am

I'm Jorge Cepeda. I've spent 15 years designing management control systems in the financial industry — the last few years at a bank's investment holding company. Today I apply that experience to mid-size companies that need the same visibility and control, without enterprise-level costs or complexity.

Lumina Consulting is my firm. I work with companies that are at the point where Excel isn't enough anymore but enterprise SAP is too much. I help them connect their data, automate the repetitive, and build decision systems that actually get used.

I'm also a professor of Advanced Data Analytics at Universidad de los Andes, and Microsoft Certified PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst).

I don't just build dashboards — I define what to measure and why. First I understand the decisions you need to make, then I design the solution that supports them.
